How to have a fun Halloween with your Chihuahua |

 There are some really adorable pet costumes this year for Halloween. Is your dog going to all the gatherings and festivities for the evening? In many cases our good friend is the designated driver and we must look ready to go out and party. Chihuahuas have an enormous attitude and hopefully the owner to back it up.
I have a “Superman” costume for Enzo and it is perfect. Enzo could play the part in the next movie he looks so cute and comfortable. Ghia has a great witch costume that fits in well with all Halloween themes and she is always getting attention which she loves.
One of the things I like to see is my Chihuahuas playing just enjoying life as we test the new clothes. This requires introducing the dog to the new attire. Have the pup smell the clothes even before wearing it. Also, a good wash will give it that laundry fresh smell. This will be beneficial for the experience. Once I dress my ‘Chi’ I just sit back and relax just to see how long my Chihuahua will wear the new clothes and if he or she is able to play comfortable without having any problems.
Dressing up your dog is fun and should be done with consideration. This will ensure another party to attend is possible and the process can become normal for a ‘Chi’. When picking out the costume think play time because that is what your loyal friend loves the most and will feel in that environment. Examine, feel it, touch it, wash it, and enjoy your ‘Chi’.
